Love Halloween? Witches, goblins and ghouls? Well, there’s no better place to spend a spooky weekend in October than in Salem, MA! Historic Salem is famous for its maritime traditions, architecture and museums, but it is the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 and the love of all things Halloween that really put it on the map. Haunted Happenings is a month-long festival featuring dozens of special events and programs. The Salem Open Market is every Friday through Sunday in Octorber, bringing together the area’s most talented indie craftspeople and designers in an open air market setting.
